My main task was to assist guests during the booking process, helping them get a good understanding of the company’s services and products as well as attending their needs while theyre having the vacation on site. I had to make sure highest service is performed by the resort staff and that the customers are happy and satisfied with the service provided. I speak English as my second language fluently which helped me immensely perform my task.

My job desk:

·         Answering reservations inquiries from travel agents and direct clients

·         Calculating the accommodation and diving packages for Papua Explorers Eco Resort and Coralia Liveaboard

·         Making invoices for Papua Explorers Eco Resort and Coralia Liveaboard

·         Updating internal and external booking files

·         booking domestic flights for clients

·         booking hotel room for clients

·         Welcoming clients and liaising as well as giving them general briefing about the resort and liveaboard.

·         Attending to guests’ needs while theyre at the resort

As the Account Manager, I was specified in handling Group bookings for Murex Resorts, Lembeh Resort and Combo packages with Siladen Resort. I had to make sure all the departments of each resort were well informed about the guests’ needs and requests for proper follow up and service delivery.

I was also involved with customer service and communication during this period of work.

My job desk:

·         Answering reservations inquiries from travel agents and direct clients

·         Calculating the accommodation and diving packages for Murex Dive Resorts bookings as well as the combination packages of Murex Dive Resorts and resort partners such as Siladen Resort and Spa and Lembeh Resort

·         Regularly updating arrival and departure list for operational staff to follow up

·         Following up bookings through online travel agents

·         Assisting senior managers with preparing diving packages for International shows or events such as DEMA, BOOT, Interdive

·         Making invoices

·         Welcoming guests and conducting general briefing

·         Preparing guests’ liability forms before they check in

·         Briefing the check in guests about the diving procedure and operations

·         Talking with the guests about the issues that they encounter and designiting the issue to the responsible person

·         Preparing invoice before the guests check out

·         Selling gift shop items

·         Doing monthly gift shop inventory

·         Doing monthly boat inspection

·         Taking guests pictures and collect their comments and put them in the testimonial section of the resort’s website

·         Welcoming guests and escorting them to their room while explaining them of how the hotel operates and work

·         Making coffee in coffee shop of the dive center
