Optical Engineer

【Job Description】

Provides support to customers in the usage of CAE products while leveraging knowledge and experiences to achieve their company’s business growth across Southeast Asia region.

- Provide pre and post-sales of software support, engineering services of Ansys optical products

- Understand customer’s application requirement and provide solutions

- Support set-up, inspection and testing of new equipment at customer locations to ensure proper installation

- Working in conjunction with the field sales personnel, identify and provide reliable solutions for all technical issues to assure customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process

- Ensure a smooth and timely flow of information between sales and engineering

- Conduct technical presentations/demonstrations/seminars, provide software application support

- Conduct applications training both in-house and on-site at customer locations

- Other duties as required by management, include travelling and support within and outside Malaysia (Might be once in a month to abroad like Singapore/Thai/Vietnam, 2-3 times in a month in Malaysia like Penang or JB)

Qualifications:

■MUST TO HAVE:

- 3+ years experience of designing as optical engineer (Basic knowledge of geometric optics and lighting design principles, or basic knowledge of imaging optics)

- Experience of using Zemax>SPEOS>CODE V= LightTools=LucidShape

- Degree of the Institute of Physics, Optoelectronics, or Optical Communications

■Interview Procedure:

1st interview: Director + Admin, about technical questions

2nd Interview: MD in Taiwan

*1st interview should be F2F, 2nd interview could be online
