Remote Video Editor (WFH)

Key Responsibilities & Requirements

• Edit and assemble recorded footage into a polished final product that aligns with the company’s vision and is suitable for broadcasting.
• Manipulate and arrange film segments seamlessly to ensure transitions and edits remain invisible to the audience.
• Interpret creative briefs to fully understand company objectives, messaging, and project specifications.
• Trim footage, arrange sequences, and structure content to create a cohesive and engaging story.
• Incorporate music, dialogue, graphics, and visual effects to enhance overall production quality.
• Produce rough cuts and refine them into high-quality final outputs with logical sequencing and smooth flow.
• Stay updated with new editing technologies and industry best practices to improve efficiency and output quality.
• Preferably a Mac user with knowledge of iMovie or Final Cut Pro, along with solid experience in digital editing software.
• Possess proven work experience as a Video Editor with a strong, demonstrable portfolio.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of timing, motivation, continuity, and storytelling principles.
• Have familiarity with special effects, 3D elements, and compositing techniques.
• Exhibit creativity, attention to detail, and strong storytelling skills to bring visuals and sound together effectively.
