Description:

1. General Accounting & Bookkeeping

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Perform daily bookkeeping tasks including journal entries, posting, and updating ledgers.
  • Ensure proper documentation and filing of receipts, invoices, and financial documents.

2. Account Reconciliation & Analysis

  • Prepare monthly bank and account reconciliations.
  • Review and analyze financial transactions to identify discrepancies and propose corrective actions.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities.

3. Accounts Payable & Check Voucher Preparation

  • Prepare check vouchers and ensure completeness of supporting documents.
  • Verify accuracy of billing statements and expenses before processing payments.
  • Coordinate with suppliers or internal departments regarding payment concerns.

4. BIR Compliance & Reportorial Requirements

  • Prepare and file BIR returns and reports such as VAT, EWT, Income Tax, and other mandated filings.
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of BIR requirements for both Sole Proprietorship and Corporation.
  • Assist in compliance with tax audits and maintain proper tax documentation and records.

5. Financial Reporting Support

  • Assist in preparing financial statements and management reports.
  • Provide accounting data and analysis for internal decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Finance, or related field.
  • Extensive background in bookkeeping, reconciliations, analysis, and check voucher preparation.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with BIR filings for Sole Proprietorship and Corporation.
  • Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of handling multiple tasks.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
