POSITION: QC Supervisor
SECTION/GROUP: QC
REPORTS TO: Production Manager
BASIC FUNCTION:
Responsible for planning, leading, organizing, motivating, and controlling all personnel activities to achieve the goals and objectives set by the Section Head. Provides overall activities for the improvement of the organization. Ensure that all required resources are readily available for use.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Planning – Plans to establish goals during meeting then set objectives and targets by using the available time and resources to reduce wastages.

Knowledge and the applications of basic statistical tools.
Knowledge of the application of material resource planning (MRP).
Knowledge of Tsukiden’s Quality System
Ability to think ahead, plan over time, and prepare action plans to achieve results.
2. Leading – Leads subordinates. Monitors progress, evaluates outcomes, and improves the section/group’s efficiency and effectiveness.

3. Organizing – Organizes work activities and assignments, and allocates resources across the section/group. Assigns work to others, considering priorities, employees’ workloads, skills, and the work that needs to be accomplished.

4. Motivation – Motivates subordinates to work at their most efficient levels to be more productive and with quality. Identifies appropriate training needs and conducts orientation, coaching, and counseling for employees’ development.
Initiate, recommend, investigate, troubleshoot, and provide solutions and actions to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformities relating to the products/process, and quality system.
Knowledge and applications of the Performance Appraisal System
Ability to train and prepare a training Module on requirements, use, and maintenance.
Ability to conduct communications, discuss performance infractions, and other matters.
Effective communication and coordination skills.
5. Controlling – Controls and observes the performance of subordinates so that potential problems can be identified in a timely manner and corrective action can be taken when necessary. Implements corrective or preventive actions to bring the section/group activities into compliance with the management plan. Improves preventive and corrective actions to avoid the recurrence of the problem.
Knowledge of Inventory Management
Working knowledge of materials, tooling, machine tools, and engineering processes.
Knowledgeable in the use of testing equipment.
Knowledge of Corrective & Preventive Action Regulation
Operating knowledge of production machines, equipment, and their functions.
Ability to make characterization of machines, jigs, etc., before use for mass production.
Knowledgeable in the preparation of calibration and maintenance work instructions
Working knowledge of Manufacturing Control Systems.
Working knowledge of a safety management program.
Ability to check reports' accuracy & correctness of contents and provide proper feedback when necessary.
Problem analysis and resolution
Application and implementation of ISO 9001:2015 / IATF16949:2016 requirements.
ISO auditing skills
Application and implementation of 5S principles.
Knowledge of Claim Control Regulation
Knowledge of Non-Conforming Regulation
Knowledge of Outgoing Inspection Procedure
7 QC tools, SPC, FMEA
Problem-Solving Method
Knowledge of the 8D Approach
Parts identification, function, and usage

Provides basic information/process flow to operators
Conduct line/process auditing and provide feedback on audit findings
Familiarization with IPC & JIS (Japan International Standard)
Education: Graduate of Engineering Course
Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the related job or industry
Others: With excellent management and leadership skills, Computer Literate

Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
[Manufacturing support positions] Maybe required to work overtime, or work on weekends and holidays. As of now, we don’t have a night shift; however, if our production peaks, we may consider 2 shifts, so their schedule may change.
