Shift Operator

Key Responsibilities

• Operate plant systems 24/7 to support critical manufacturing.
• Monitor equipment continuously using SCADA, logs, and meters.
• Track plant data daily including flowrates, pH, chemical dosing, and alarms.
• Test wastewater quality through regular sampling and jar tests.
• Calibrate equipment weekly (like pH sensors) per DOE guidelines.
• Change plant filters and consumables on schedule.
• Perform shift handovers and submit daily status reports.
• Report breakdowns immediately to supervisors and clients.
• Follow safety rules including PPE and local Malaysian laws.
• Maintain site cleanliness using 5S housekeeping methods.
• Manage spare parts and track inventory levels.

Requirements

• Understand plant equipment and basic mechanical functions.
• Willing to work shifts to support 24/7 operations.
• Good communication skills for team updates and reporting.
