Field Technician

Core Responsibilities

• Assist & Learn: Support senior technicians with the installation, setup, and troubleshooting of machinery at client sites.
• Routine Maintenance: Perform basic upkeep like cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting equipment to ensure it runs smoothly.
• Basic Repairs: Fix simple mechanical issues and replace faulty parts under direct supervision.
• Documentation: Help maintain accurate service records, log activities in tracking systems, and prepare simple reports.
• Safety & Organization: Keep work areas clean, follow all safety protocols, and ensure tools are in good working order. 

Key Requirements

• Education: Usually requires a High School Diploma or a Technical Diploma (e.g., SPM or SKM in Malaysia). Fresh graduates with a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering are often encouraged to apply.
• Basic Skills: Familiarity with hand and power tools, the ability to read simple blueprints, and basic computer literacy.
• Physical Ability: Must be physically fit to lift equipment, climb ladders, and work in tight or outdoor spaces.
• Attitude: A strong willingness to learn, attention to detail, and a valid driver's license for travel to job sites.
