Manage and supervise daily accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, bank reconciliation, and journal entries
Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing and reporting
Prepare and present financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses to both local management and Japan headquarters
Ensure compliance with Philippine tax regulations, BIR submissions, and external audit requirements
Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and government agencies
Monitor cash flow and implement financial controls and procedures to safeguard company assets
Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decision-making and strategic planning
Support intercompany transactions and reporting in coordination with Japan HQ
Ensure proper documentation and compliance with internal policies and financial reporting standards (e.g., IFRS or J-GAAP, as applicable)
※The scope of responsibilities will be determined based on the candidate’s experience and skill set, as certain accounting and finance functions are currently being handled by an external consulting firm.
Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in Accounting SPV or above, preferably in a multinational or Japanese company
Not a job hopper
MS Office, ERP, or SAP
Work schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00 ~ 17:00
