Remote Search Engine Optimization Strategist

Key Responsibilities

• SEO Strategy & Implementation: Execute on-site and off-site SEO strategies, including backlinking, keyword discovery, and local SEO (Google My Business).
• Technical SEO: Install Google Analytics/Search Console, fix crawler errors, monitor page speed, and work with developers to ensure SEO-friendly website architecture.
• Paid Search (PPC): Manage paid search campaigns, track ROI, analyze website analytics, and manage campaign budgets/expenses.
• Content Optimization: Optimize website copy and landing pages; evaluate and remove low-quality content to improve rankings.
• Analysis & Reporting: Conduct competitor research, monitor daily/weekly/yearly rankings, and reconcile monthly cost discrepancies.
• Collaboration: Partner with Social Media and Web Development teams to align SEO goals with content programming and site updates.

Requirements

• Experience: 1–3 years of experience successfully developing and executing SEO campaigns.
• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking methods, and web structures.
• Tool Proficiency: Familiarity with Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, and CMS platforms like WordPress.
• Analytical Skills: Strong ability in keyword research, data mining, and competitive analysis.
• Bonus Skills: Ability to write HTML or JavaScript snippets is a major plus.
