Founding Full-Stack Engineer

**Location:** In-person – San Francisco, CA (6 days/week, Mon–Sat)

**Relocation:** Open (assistance negotiable)

**Experience Level:** Early–Senior (high slope, high ownership)

* 6-day workweeks (Saturday = ~2 hours of planning)

* Fully provided meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner)

* Very high ownership and expectations

This role is for builders who want to **move fast, own systems end-to-end, and grow at founder speed**.

You will work directly with the founders to design, build, scale, and optimize user-facing AI systems that operate at **a massive scale**. This role combines **frontend product work, backend systems engineering, and data/ML infrastructure design**.

You’ll be expected to move quickly, make strong technical decisions, and own features from idea to production.

### **Key Responsibilities**

* **Product & Feature Ownership**

* Own large portions of the AI Experience Generation platform

* Take features end-to-end: PRDs/specs → implementation → testing → deployment

* Collaborate directly with founders and customers to design new experiences

* **Full-Stack Development**

* Build and extend product features in **Next.js/React**

* Design and deploy scalable backend services in **Golang**

* Work across the stack with strong product sensibility

* **Scalability & Performance**

* Tune, optimize, and load-test systems to support **10× growth**

* Design systems capable of serving **hundreds of millions of users**

* Build for high reliability and demanding SLAs

* **Data & Experimentation Infrastructure**

* Design data systems and ML training pipelines

* Enable automated experimentation and continuous improvement

* Support large-scale AI/ML-driven decision systems

### **Must-Have Qualifications**

* **Experience**

* 1+ years at a **US-based company**, ideally Seed → Series B

* Experience working on **extremely large-scale systems**

* Strong trajectory (“career slope”) with fast upward progression

* **Technical Skills**

* Strong **full-stack foundation** (Next.js / React + backend systems)

* Experience with **Golang** (or proven ability to ship scalable Go services)

* Strong first-principles problem-solving ability

* Experience owning features end-to-end in production systems
