Description:

  • Responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods and documents to the customer
  • Follow instructions; locate and read location and road maps
  • Pre-inspect truck, car and other vehicle
  • Pick up goods, materials and equipment, verify loads for accuracy and deliver them as instructed
  • Responsible for basic vehicle maintenance; comply with all safe work practices , policies and processes at all times
  • Complete and verify paperwork for accuracy
  • Planning routes and meeting delivery schedules
  • Report defects, accidents or violations
  • Maintain a positive attitude with customers
  • Comply with rules and regulations
  • Keep commercial drivers license up to date.

  • Skills and Qualifications
  • Has 2 years or more of truck driving experience
  • Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly
  • Willing to take overtime hours
  • Good knowledge of driving rules and regulations

  • No driving violations
  • Can make delivery on his own
  • Has valid professional drivers license: Restriction must be 1,2 or 1,2,3 is an advantage
