JR. SERVICE ENGINEER

Job description
Provide efficient and effective support for the Surgical Technologies equipment products through service education of current and potential customers and procedure coverage within Philippines by providing service trainings and after-sales support.

Main Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to hospital customers in commissioning, operation and maintenance of medical equipment.
• Update and collect feedback from users regularly on the maintenance, performance, reliability and quality of medical equipment
• Check, analyze and investigate faults / complaints / hazards on medical equipment, map out and implement required action plans
• Ensure quality of works conform to standards and practices as stipulated by different Principals/ Manufacturers.
• Coordinate biomedical services needed for medical equipment projects.
• Assist Clinical Applications Specialist and/or Asst. Product Managers during product demo, initial training during commissioning of equipment.
• Serve as the contact point of Principals/ Manufacturers for any biomedical equipment issues.
• Spearhead and ensure proper checking of medical equipment during arrival from Principals/ Manufacturers and upon deployment to customer site either for demo or delivery purposes.
• Perform any other duties and tasks as assigned by the Business Unit Head.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam), Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Engineering (Bioengineering/Biomedical) or equivalent.
• At least 1 - 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Good communication skill, customer oriented, able to prioritize and follow through tasks, work under pressure, able to work flexible hours and overtime if required.
• Applicant must be willing to travel (100%).
• 1 full time position for Manila area.
