Design Engineer

Competency :
1) At least 5 years of working experience in Mechanical assembly & Design filed
2) Prefer knowledge in Precision Tooling field is an added advantage.
3) Strong problem solving skills
4) Excellent communication skills
5) Good knowledge in CAD software such as Solidwork and AutoCad
6) Good understanding of manufacturing processes and construction methods
7) Ability to work in a team
8) An appreciation of business demands

Responsibility :
1) Use specialized software to create models and drawings of products
2) Research new materials and methods of development
3) Organize and maintain existing engineering records
4) Construct prototypes and confirm designs with design/purchasing team
5) Perform physical testing on engineering prototypes
6) Ensure components and assemblies adhere to applicable industry and business standards
7) Create new designs and forward them to the project manager or manufacturer for evaluation.
doing this, he/she will stick to the acceptable standards of engineering designs
8) Ensure that all designs are not complicated but easy to understand by clients,
manufacturers and installers for easy interpretation even in their absence
9) Evaluate designs to spot loopholes, and fine-tune them to enhance their final outlook.
