3D Artist (Digital 3D assets / AR)

Responsibilities:

• Take responsibility for developing aesthetically pleasing, technically accurate or stylized, optimized 3D models for real-time platforms for projects including AR, 3D Configurator and Animation;

• Work closely with both 3D Production and Business Development teams on projects of varying length and complexity;

• Conceptualize, present, and execute ideas within a schedule, while actively participating in technical and artistic problem solving;

• Prepare the briefs and mock-ups for concept development and review (sketches, mood board);

• QC the 3D models according to the client’s tech requirements.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of related working experience;

• Bachelor’s degree/ Higher Diploma in Multimedia, 3D Design or equivalent;

• Experience in Gaming industry / AR-related environment would be an asset;

• Experience in Integrating and testing art assets in the different gaming engines (Unity, Unreal);

• Strong working knowledge of industry-standard software, including 3ds Max, Blender, V-Ray, Corona;

• Proficient in design related software, such as Photoshop and Illustrator;

• Excellent creativity and artistic skills;

• Well-rounded knowledge of 3D design principles and techniques;

• Experience in high and low poly modelling;

• Experience with Substance Painter/Designer, PBR materials;

• Experience working on an AR asset from concept art, through development, to polish and final delivery;

• Ability to work from concepts and reference images to produce accurate and consistent models;

• Experience in optimization and integrating assets from different sources into a cohesive whole;

• Fluency in English;

• Good team player with mature working attitude;

• Self-initiative, able to meet tight deadline and work under pressure;

• Fast learner with passion on latest technologies trends;

• Be capable of handling realistic lights and textures;

• Willing to work on-site (Ortigas, Pasig)
