Description:

  • Interprets drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine finish condition of work pieces, sequences of stainless steel finishing operations, and setup requirements.
  • Grinds, files, or sands metal surfaces to remove burrs and sharp edges using hand tools and grinders.
  • Removes weld and rough grinding through to specified surface finish.
  • Inspects thoroughly the fabricated items for any dents or scratches that need to be removed.
  • Performs general cleanup of the equipment and surrounding areas.
  • Keeps a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Reports all nonconforming items/products to immediate superior for proper disposition.
  • Performs other related duties from time to time and/or that may be assigned by immediate superior.
