Reliability Engineer

Job Requirements :

• Management and control maintenance store inventory to ensure high availability with ease to locate parts

• Management of Asset Reliability Plan to ensure high equipment availability in support of production

• Perform reliability inspection as per work request ensure early detection with ample reaction time to keep production disruption to the minimum

• Develop Risk Assessment (RA) and Work Method Statement (WMS)

• Perform preventive maintenance as per work request to extend equipment useful life

• Permit applicant as per Permit-To-Work (PTW) system as part of regulatory and PSM requirement

• Project follow up and management (include installation)

• Vendor management.

• Execution of mechanical corrective maintenance as per work request that include troubleshooting.

• Emergency Call-Out Standby (after normal office hours)

• Participate in morning meeting.

• Maintain plant mechanical equipment to keep it running smoothly.

• Perform installation, visual and mechanical inspection, and repair on a variety of mechanical equipment in plants and related facilities.

• Ensure good housekeeping at work site as well as allocated area of work

• Perform or assist with any operations, as required, or directed to maintain workflow or respond to emergency conditions.

Job Requirements:

• Candidate at least possesses Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering

• At least 5 years working experience

• Knowledge of mechanical equipment operations and maintenance skill and knowledge

• Familiar with P&ID, Isometric Drawing, Engineering Drawing (General Assembly / Sectional / etc.)

• Knowledge of safety procedures.

• Mechanical technical skill (Equipment servicing / Gasket Replacement / Laser Alignment / etc.)

• Vendor / Contractor management

• Sound troubleshooting skill

• Knowledge of engineering standards or practices (API / ASME / ASNT / NACE / etc.)

• Willing to work at Kapar, Klang
