Purchasing - Raw Material

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for expediting purchasing activities, including raw material purchases.
• Continuously source and compare quotations from potential suppliers / vendors for routinely purchased raw materials / products / service to ensure cost-effective purchases.
• Develop good relationship and perform ongoing negotiation with existing suppliers / vendors for better purchase dealings, including price reduction, better quality products, rebate value, longer payment terms, faster delivery service and etc.
• Issue Purchase Order, check Delivery date committed by suppliers/vendors to ensure on-time delivery of raw material/goods.
• Monitor stock movements and balance every month
• Liaise closely with other relevant departments in the company for smooth and timely completion of purchasing process / activities.
• Prepare necessary reports (including cost analysis) and maintain proper filing system.
• Perform any other duties as and when assigned by the superior.

Job Requirements:

• At least Diploma, Degree in Supply Chain/Business Administration/  Logistic/ Transportation or equivalent.
• At least 2 years working experience
• Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Independent, resourceful, proactive, trustworthy and able to work under tight deadlines
• Willing to work at Kapar,Klang
