Product Development Manager

Job Descriptions:

• Justifies and develops new products or improve existing ones to meet the market or customer demand and work closely with the product manager to co-own the product roadmap, execute the product strategy and manage the product lifecycle.
• Works with Technical & Application support, Engineering Marketing, Sales and PMI to conduct market research, analyse industry and technology trends and development and work with existing customers to understand their need better.
• Coordinates with customers and suppliers regarding product requirements and specification as well as internal and external coordination of the design verification plan and tracking of testing/prototyping execution.
• Technical support for automotive customers and Japanese speaking accounts.
• Customer site visitation to troubleshoot product issue, understand customer expectation and provide solution.
• Responsible to manage R&D internal tool test center.
• Provide direction for product positioning
• Any other duties as assigned by the company.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical Manufacturing, Automotive, Mechatronic), Material Science, Chemical).
• Product development process ( such as APQP)
• At least 2 years of experience in metalworking industries or equivalent exposure in the above filed is preferred.
• Willing to work at Shah Alam, Selangor
