Description:

The Business Controller is responsible for providing financial guidance to support strategic decision-making and ensure the overall financial health of the Company.
Financial Management
Prepare and present financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and statements of shareholders' equity
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, both internally to management and externally to stakeholders such as regulatory authorities, and auditors.
Analyze financial data and provide in-depth analysis of revenue, expenses, profitability, and other financial metrics
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies
Conduct period-end closing activities, including reconciliations, accruals, and adjusting entries
Monitor and analyze costs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing cost-saving initiatives.
Analyze and interpret financial reports to identify trends, variances, and key performance indicator
Assess and manage financial risks by implementing internal controls, establishing policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards.
Management of Working Capital, Cash Flow, and Cash Conversion Cycle
Establish Transfer Pricing documentation and ensure compliance
Balance Sheet Control and Management
Oversee and manage all tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax laws and regulations.
Project Management
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and project stakeholders, to define project goals, scope, and deliverables
Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies throughout the project lifecycle
Monitor and report project status, milestones, and risks to senior management and key stakeholders
Evaluate the financial feasibility and impact of proposed projects or initiatives.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and potential risks associated with financial projects
Assess financial performance and conduct variance analysis during project execution
Business Partnership and Collaboration
Build strong relationships with stakeholders to understand their business needs, challenges, and goals
Provide financial guidance and support to business partners, assisting them in understanding and interpreting financial information
Participate in cross-functional initiatives and projects, representing the finance perspective and ensuring financial considerations are taken into account

Job Requirements
Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy or its equivalent.
Must be a Certified Public Accountant or its equivalent
With at least five (5) year experience in Accounting field.
Job Competencies
Must have relevant experience in Financial Accounting, Reporting and Control, Project Management, Taxation and Audit, Finance Business Partner
Proficient in all computer software and applications particularly in SAP, Excel, and PowerPoint
Must possess above-average general management skills, be a team player, be results-driven, and can manage changes well.
Has good communication skills.
Can work under minimum supervision
