Description:

  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the taxation compliance department. Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles.

  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the Accounting & Tax Department.

  • Responsible for process improvement and operational measures to achieve efficient and zero mistake service. 

  • Knowledgeable in cross border taxation and global schedular tax system.

  • Knowledgeable in retail, trading and construction tax reporting systems.

  • Establish and enforce accounting methods, principles and policies.

  • Collaborate in the recruitment, training, performance review and development of the staff to meet capabilities in the expansion of business operations.

  • Demonstrate leadership and help promote company culture that encourages top performance.

  • Monitor and analyse accounting data and produce financial reports and/or statements.

  • Provides assistance to clients with tax compliance matters.

  • Ensure proper bookkeeping and maintaining all accounting records.

  • Handle negotiation with related government agencies on behalf of the company.

  • Perform all other tasks assigned by the Management.

  • Bachelor of Science in Accountancy.

  • Certified Public Accountant.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting systems and tax compliance.

  • Minimum of 2-3 years managerial experience is preferred.

  • Can adapt and work in  a multicultural working environment.

  • Strong analytical and strategic skills.

  • Good communication and presentation skills

  • Trustworthy, attention to detail and able to detect inconsistencies.

  • Must have a positive working attitude and be highly organised.
