We have an immediate requirement for a reliable, analytical, focused, and results-driven Senior Bookkeeper to join our team.   

Requirements: 

  • Perform general end to end bookkeeping 
  • Prepare and complete bank reconciliations 
  • Do journal entries 
  • Manage general ledger  
  • Create invoices and accounts receivables   
  • Follow up outstanding payments 
  • Run payroll, superannuation and complete wage and GST reconciliations 
  • Prepare ITR, BAS & FBT  
  • Lodge IAS and payroll tax 
  • Prepare for R&D and other government grants 
  • Manage accounts payable and receivables 
  • Prepare financial reports and budgets 
  • Maintain accurate financial records and reports 
  • With experience in managing balance sheets and general ledger reconciliation  
  • Conduct daily account management  
  • Update and create financial policies and procedures 

Skills and Experience:

  • Must hold a Bachelor of Accounting or Diploma of Accounting/ Bookkeeping 
  • Minimum of five (5) years' experience as a bookkeeper in Australian context 
  • High working knowledge of Xero and MYOB
  • Ability to quickly learn other programs 
  • With in depth knowledge of accounting processes 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills  
  • Proficient with MS Office  
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks 
  • Be able to work with a team but also independently at times 
  • Work from home in an efficient manner 
  • Able to follow direction and instructions and procedures and prioritise jobs to be done 
  • With personable, pleasant personality as the role involves client interface 
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Results driven and with high regard to integrity
