The Project Engineer is responsible for the site management team and acts as day-to-day manager on a construction site, which can include liaising with third party stakeholders and managing the site facilities. He is also responsible for planning, technical queries, marking out and leveling construction sites before any work takes place as well as checking drawings, quantities and ensuring calculations are accurate and consistent with company policies and regulatory procedures. He is required to operate on a profit basis within the framework of policies, objectives and budgets.
➡️ At least 3 years experience managing construction project sites
➡️ At least 5 years exposure to handling teams, either in an assistant or project engineer capacity.
➡️ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, licensed is a plus
➡️ Certification in Project Management a plus
➡️ Construction schedule is on Monday - Saturday , 7:30AM - 4:30PM, may be required to work on weekends and holidays
➡️ Stationed in a construction site away from Metro Manila (Tagaytay), lodging in a staff-house on site
➡️ Occasionally oversee overtime and overnight construction activities (ex. concrete pouring)
➡️ Viber must be kept on 24/7 for instructions from the management, real-time response during work hours is required (at most 30 minutes from contact attempt)
