Description:

A document controller is a controller responsible for the timely, accurate and efficient preparation and management of documents. They control the numbering, sorting, filing, storing and retrieval of both electronic and hard copy documents produced by technical teams, projects or departments.The document controller should have the following:

  • good communication skills.
  • a careful eye for detail.
  • to be able to respect privacy as you might be dealing with sensitive documents.
  • good written skills.
  • to enjoy working as part of a team.
  •  Good IT skills.
  • the ability to prioritise your workload.
