This position is required to drive new business acquisition in new customers such as Legal, Corporate, Government, Academic and any adjacent markets that can be identified that has a need for the solutions provided by LexisNexis SEA. The role will be new business target driven with strong prospecting and closing capabilities.

  • Drive new business acquisition in assigned market segment ie: legal, corporate, etc
  • Build effective relationships with key stakeholders in potential customers to expand penetration of LexisNexis solutions
  • Effectively identify and develop sales opportunities to develop a sales pipeline
  • While this position description is intended to be an accurate reflection of the requirements of the position, the management reserves the right to add or remove duties when circumstances dictate

Requirements:-

  • Tertiary qualification in related field. Good written, verbal and presentation communication skills 

  • Fresh graduate or 1 -2 years relevant work experience – preferably within the IT/Software market

  • Has a high degree of professionalism and integrity

  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, persistent and accurate

  • Proficient with online search tools and Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and SharePoint

  • Good interpersonal skills as you have to interact with the staff of different departments on a regular basis

  • Resourceful and well – organized

  • Strong problem-solving ability
