Job Summary

The Marketing Analytics and Consumer Insights Assistant Manager will work closely with the sales and marketing team to track key activities, evaluate their success, and identify how they contribute to the sales pipeline to ensure they’re offering an adequate return on investment (ROI). This individual will likely have a deep understanding of how customer data is structured in your systems and the ability to segment the database based on criteria to best target a specific user type.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide the marketing organization with the necessary analytics to deliver insights that impact marketing decisions, optimizations, and investments.
  • Lead the development of campaign and channel measurement strategies.
  • Provide guidance on campaign measurement plans and goals for teams across the organization in campaign planning process.
  • Create presentation reports that present data in an easy-to-understand format encompassing statistics, graphs, and other tools as needed.
  • Continually evaluate and recommend possible marketing changes and point out insights to the marketing team that could positively impact the overall marketing/lead generation/optimization strategy.
  • Conceptualize, implement & evaluate consumer promotions (in/out of store) that are aligned with brand strategy. 
  • Identify knowledge gaps, interpret market research results and enrich our understanding of consumer/shopper motivations, beliefs and behaviors in order to develop marketing plans that build brand and commercial equity.
  • Develop and implement pricing strategies and programs for the brand assigned, based on knowledge of competitive price positioning and trade’s retail pricing practices.

Qualifications

·         College Degree holder of Marketing, Management or similar courses.

·         3- 5+ years of experience in brand management, consumer in sighting, marketing or operational analysis.

·         Strong analytical skills and an ability to draw accurate, useful conclusions from quantitative information, in order to make strong commercial decision

·         Strong communication, negotiation and problem solving skills

·         Demonstrates ability to manage up and across the organization (both internal and external)

·         Exceptional organizational and planning skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize

·         Advanced proficiency in Microsoft applications such as Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

·         Must be self-starter and can work under minimal supervision
