Material Planner

Company Overview :

Our client is a distributor of electronic components and materials, headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona USA, founded in 1921. The HQ for the Asian Pacific is located in our neighbouring country, Singapore. Our client has also set up a branch in Bayan Lepas, Pulau Pinang.

Principal Responsibilities :

• To be responsible for buying of materials and components from the orders made by clients.
• Plan and forecast the needed materials that would be cost efficient.
• Aligns purchases with the business strategies and financial goals.
• Would be responsible to be involved in stock management.

Principal Requirements :

• Must have good communications skills in Mandarin. (Clients are from overseas)
• Must be located in / willing to relocate to Bayan Lepas, Pulau Pinang.
• Must have basic knowledge in Excel.
• Fresh Graduates with Material Management or electronic internship is an added advantage.
• Education and Certification(s): Diploma or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained.
• SAP experience is an added advantage.
