About the Job
As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you'll be working to ensure the functionality of Frost's technical output. It'll be your job to spot bugs, inconsistencies, and other anomalies.
To succeed in this role, you'll need a strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. You'll also need the ability to think outside the testable range for edge cases and extreme scenarios.

Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs; perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved; monitor debugging process results.
Develop and apply testing processes for new features and functionalities.
Liaise with internal teams (developers, technical managers) to identify system requirements.
Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities, and open defect counts.
Participate in sprint planning, cadence meetings, and other alignment activities; complete other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
Ensure that one’s work adheres to Frost’s standards.
Sustain the company’s growth and uphold Frost’s culture and values.
1 to 2 years experience in software development; hands-on experience with automated testing tools.
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes.
Ability to think outside the testable range for edge cases and extreme scenarios.
Strong attention to detail.
Knowledge of Relational DBMS, SQL.
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
Excellent communication, task-delegation, and time-management skills.
The willingness to step up when your team depends on it.
