The Job

Your primary responsibility is to ensure that you plan, oversee, and manage projects effectively and to ensure that projects are delivered on-time, within budget, and within agreed quality standards.

Your role will require you to communicate and interact with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that all are aligned and directed to achieve the projects’ goal, scope and objectives.

Project-Related Responsibilities

• Create a detailed project management plan and other related project documents. • Identify and create a high-level scope of work, estimates, project schedule, milestones and deadlines

• Track and report project performance and results, using appropriate KPIs, metrics, tools and techniques, to project stakeholders and project sponsors.

• Set the project direction, and constantly manage risks and issues by providing solutions to project-related issues.

• Perform quality control all throughout the project to maintain the standards expected • Ensuring that processes are followed, and constantly revisit and improving processes and the overall project approach where it is deemed necessary.

Team-Related Responsibilities

• Coordinate with different teams that will contribute to the success of the project. • Foster a culture of accountability and ownership with the project team.

• Ensure that all team members and stakeholders have the required information and resources to carry out their tasks effectively and in a timely manner.

• Lead and facilitate project meetings.

• Monitor the team’s work time, output, and timesheets on a daily basis.

Customer-Oriented Responsibilities

• Create a communication plan and manage communication with both external and internal stakeholders (clients, sponsors, executives, etc.)

• Organize and participate in client meetings.

• Ensure compliance with client requirements and business needs.

• Ensure an overall customer satisfaction.

Occasional Duties (duties or tasks done on a monthly, yearly, or an occasional basis) • Performing quality control by testing and reviewing the quality of the features, functionalities, project artefacts, and project files due for release.

• Review the documentations or related literature released internally or externally. • Understand and document business requirements and translate then into functional documents that can be understood by both end users, technical, creative, product and business stakeholders.

• Contribute to the development of the company, its processes, and its projects

• Align the company’s general business targets with the project’s objectives and outcomes. • Performs other duties as assigned by his/her supervisor / manager / management from time to time.

REQUIREMENTS

• 3 - 5 years’ worth of work experience as a Project Manager

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in any business or management course or IT-related course (i.e. Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or Information Systems).

• A certification in project management (PMP Certification or Certified Scrum Master) is great but not required

Technical Skills

• Knowledgeable in waterfall and agile project management methodologies.

• Theoretical and practical knowledge of project management processes, workflows, and terminology

• Knowledge and experience in using project management software and tools • Outstanding grasp of design and IT concepts, processes, and web standards • Familiar with application development life cycle.

• Problem-solving and business analytical skills and organizational skills

• Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills

• A self-starter with leadership capability

• Results-oriented

• Accuracy and attention to detail

• Ability to manage time and delegate resources effectively

• Time management skills

• Capacity to work independently and within a team

• Ability to motivate team members and encourage team work and able to earn the respect and trust of others

• Ability to make important decisions and perform under high stress situations • Ability to manage, handle, and resolve conflicts

Nice to have skills:

• Capacity to train other team members

• Ability to research, understand, and apply the concepts and best practices of any new industry

Salary: Php41,000.00 - Php70,000.00 per month
