Position                       : IT Application Specialist

Salary                          : RM 2,500 – RM 4,000

Location                      : Eco City Bangsar KL

Working hours             : 10am – 7pm

Days                            : 5 days


Job Responsibilities:


·         Manage multiple market projects and priorities, gathering detailed business requirements and creating / documenting process flows


·         Meet regularly with market leadership in SE Asia (GM, Sales Manager, Member Services, Finance Manager, Operations Manager, etc.) to understand problems being reported from customers/members


·         Facilitate regular IT project prioritization meetings and status reporting to local leadership in each SE Asia market


·         Plan for and ensure application readiness for conventions or other local events and promotions


·         Troubleshoot and fix application issues being reported, providing proper documentation on issues that need to be escalated to the corporate IT Tier 2 (regional) support group


·         Test new changes to the applications and report bugs / issues with proper documentation


·         Understand current business intelligence and platforms used and build reporting capability in the market


·         Provide local training to company employees on application features and functionality



Other Miscellaneous IT Help Desk duties:


·         Install and configure basic computer hardware operating systems and applications


·         Monitor and maintain computer systems, networks and telephone equipment


·         Troubleshoot system and network problems, and diagnosing and solving PC hardware issues (Windows and Mac)


·         Resolve and/or replace faulty hardware


·         Process RMA or warranty replacement of hardware


·         Document all hardware being distributed using asset tag number, computer name and user first and last names


·         Work with corporate network and system engineers to support local market environment(s)


·         Setup and manage user accounts and profiles in both Active Directory and Microsoft Office 365 Business


·         Prioritize and manage several open cases at one time while meeting agreed service level agreements


·         Coordinate and manage external vendors as needed


·         Rapidly establish a good working relationship with executives, employees and other team members


·         Take an active role in leading and servicing remote offices and mentor others as necessary


·         Recommend and assist in the implementation of tools for performance, security and availability


·         Support corporate events that may be held in the region.



Job Qualifications:


·         Ability to work without close supervision and under pressure


·         Candidate must be willing and able to travel when necessary to other areas of SE Asia or United States


·         Ability to present ideas and in a fast-growing office environment and have excellent communication skills (face-to-face, telephone, and written)


·         Willingness to work before or after normal business hours as necessary to complete tasks


·         Occasional weekend and evening work required

·         Some hands-on experience and working knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft Windows, Windows Server, and Microsoft Office


·         Networking experience preferred

·         Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills
