Key accountabilities:
Client Advisory & Rapport

  • Act as trusted advisor to clients, guided by the head of PR department
  • Plan, develop and implement clients’ corporate strategies
  • Articulate the scope of project, schedule, risks and solutions to client and team members
  • Ability to manage client relationship by providing forward planning, issue resolution and expectation management
  • Proactively manage and update client expectations and ensure that all issues impacting client satisfaction are addressed
  • Maintain and update project management documentation at all stages of the project lifestyle
  • Raise the visibility and enhance the reputation of the firm externally through activities and results
  • Strong business acumen

Monitor of Client Timeline

  • Management of project to ensure timely deliverables and execution
  • Identify key milestones and stages of projects to ensure coverage or correct action is taken at each time
  • To create, maintain and update all necessary client materials

Media Rapport

  • Build and sustain media relationships
  • Regular contact with media both electronically and in person

Personnel Management

  • Play a role in developing and training junior staff and act as a mentor
  • Manage, nurture, train and discipline Associates and Coordinators to ensure quality and quantity of work attained
  • Proactively address staff performance issues
  • Leverage the resources of the Company while seeking opportunities to grow client relationships into new geographic areas and practice capabilities

Content development

  • Able to strategise, plan and outline angle of story for press release, speech or any kind of materials related to PR
  • Experienced in corporate writing style

Requirements

  • Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia
  • At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Required Skill(s): Microsoft Office
  • Preferably Junior/Senior Executive specialized in Public Relations/Communications or equivalent.
  • Preferably fluent in English (speaking & writing).
