Trading Manager

Reports to the Management and shall be performing the following functions: The Trading Manager will supervise trading operations and is responsible for ensuring the continuous operation of electricity trading of the Philippines' power generation assets in compliance with existing rules and regulations issued by IEMOP, PEMC, NGCP, DOE, ERC, and other government agencies regarding the dispatching, scheduling, bilateral contracts declaration. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Supervision and management of the day-to-day trading operations • Formulate and manage financial forecasting following budgetary and cash flow constraints • Optimization of spot, reserve, and bilateral electricity sales • Ensure adherence to WESM Compliance standards and regulatory requirements • Short and long-term energy market modeling, electricity price simulation, and forecasting • Coordination with IEMOP, NGCP, PEMC, and other entities regarding electricity trading • Proper operational execution of all short-term and long-term Agreements (PPA, ASPA, etc) • Create weekly and monthly reports for management • Perform any other related duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time by the management Must be a graduate of engineering, economics, statistics, finance, or other business-related courses Must have at least 5 years of relevant experience in the power industry Must have a strong background in the Philippine electricity spot market, power system operation, and rules/regulations of the power industry. Must have strong analytical and decision-making skills Master’s degree in business or engineering is preferred Highly proficient in programming and data analytics Working Days Monday~Friday 8:30~17:15 Interview Location: 1st online/final F2F
