Chemical Engineer

Job description

• Develops manufacturing processes that minimize waste and increase the quality of finished product
• Monitors and test processes and products found in all phases of production
• Develops and implements safety procedures for staff working with hazardous materials
• Designs, plans and implements the layout of manufacturing equipment to optimize production and decrease costs
• Conducting research on new technologies and alternative methods for chemical processes in order to improve efficiency or reduce costs
• Designing and building new chemical manufacturing facilities, including piping and instrumentation diagrams, material flow diagrams, process Flow diagrams, and electrical schematics

QUALIFICATIONS

1. BS Chemical Engineering Graduate, License is an advantage

2. With at least two (2) years relevant work experience

3. Has Project Management Skills

4. Experience in process simulations and standard operating procedures

5. Has fundamental level of critical thinking, problem solving and technical skills
