HSEQ Administrator

Key Accountabilities

Technical Expertise and Quality of Work

· Update, control and manage IMS-HSEQ documents

· Assist in the achievement of HSEQ objectives and targets

· Ensure HSEQ statistics are collected and reported

· Assist in the maintenance of the Integrated Management System

· Coordination of action items close-out from audit findings, incidents and non-conformances

· Assist in the investigation, management and reporting of incident and near misses

· Engage with team members to promote good communication and compliance with the IMS requirements

· Assist the HSEQ Team and HSEQ Committees across all the Business Units with coordination, minute taking and other general admin.

· Conduct workplace inspections

· Any other duties as directed by the HSEQ Manager / COO

Internal Relationships

· Act as a positive influencer of safety culture across the Business Units, from office related work to the field-based activities

· Provide guidance to all team members in relation to administration, review and reporting per the HSEQ Integrated Management System requirements

· Demonstrate Verbrec focus and priority on HSEQ to our team members

Client Relationships

· Build and maintain relationships with clients with regard to collaboration on HSEQ-related matters, including incident investigation and reporting and sharing of learning events

· Participate where necessary in client-facing HSEQ activities such as joint risk assessments, onboarding, mobilisation, journey management, gap analysis, audits, feedback collection, lessons learnt, HSEQ plan drafting, review and approval, etc.

· Demonstrate Verbrec focus and priority on HSEQ to our clients

Continuous Improvement

· Proactively identify opportunities and execute new initiatives to improve HSEQ performance

· Maintain an up to date improvements / corrective actions register

· Report and assist in managing all non-conformances to ensure continuous improvement.

Business Development

· Provide continuous HSEQ support to each Business Unit with a focus on achieving the Company’s HSEQ Objectives and Targets

· Promote Verbrec’s positive safety culture, systems and processes to clients

HSE and QA

· To work according to and comply with the requirements of the Integrated HSEQ Management System

· Take reasonable care for their own health and safety

· Take reasonable care that their acts or omissions do not adversely affect the health and safety of other persons

· Take reasonable care that their acts or omissions do not adversely affect the environment

· Comply, so far as the worker is reasonably able, with any reasonable instruction given to achieve safe work practices

· Cooperate with any reasonable policy or procedure relating to health, safety, quality, or the environment at the workplace, that has been communicated to them

Qualifications & Experience

· Experience in maintenance of ISO 14001, 45001 and 9001.

· Experience in Microsoft Suite.

· Be a leader in workplace health and safety from the office to the field.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.

· Strong Microsoft Suite skills, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

· Document and record management skills.
