OVERVIEW OF THE POSITION:


Act as an Orthopedic Technician who provides technical support to Physicians, Physician Assistants, and Nurse Practitioners in the delivery of standard orthopedic practice and assisting in routine surgical procedures. All work is performed under the supervision of a physician or appropriate licensed practitioner.

 

Responsible for implementation and coordination of sales and marketing-related strategies by the recommended methods and guidelines given by the company towards the achievement of sales and marketing goals in the territory.

 

TYPICAL ACTIVITIES:


The duties listed below are intended only as illustrations of the various types of work that may be performed.

  • Serves as primary contact person for orthopedic support in the areas of surgical coverage, troubleshooting, and in-service technical support.
  • Educates customers on the merits and proper clinical usage of company products by giving presentations and demonstrations using a wide variety of formats and platforms to keep all customers abreast of the latest developments, recommended therapies, technological updates, and current items of interest in the industry.
  • Attends surgical procedures in operating rooms of hospital accounts to assure customer and patient success with PSI orthopedics products.
  • Ensures proper and timely sales ordering and submission of required documentation needed for sales process and collection by the Company’s policy and procedure.
  • Investigate and report any discrepancies found in inventory.
  • Reporting of defective products discovered.
  • Check date-sensitive products for expiration and facilitate removal & transfer of products as needed.
  • Coordinate closely with customer service & logistics department.
  • Timely submission of case reports (product used in cases).

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or any four-allied medical course.
  • With at least 1-2 years of experience in handling/operating medical equipment/devices; technical support to Physicians, Physician Assistants, and Nurse Practitioners in the delivery of standard orthopedic practice.
  • Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
  • Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passionate, result-oriented, self-motivated, positive and proactive
  • Willing to travel and do field work as required.
  • 2 Full-time positions for Manila.
