Accounting Supervisor

Responsibilities

1. Financial Statement Preparation & Analysis:

   • Take a lead role in preparing accurate and timely financial statements.
   • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to provide insights into the company's financial performance.
   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data for comprehensive financial reporting.

2. Bank Reconciliation:

   • Perform regular and thorough bank reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial transactions.
   • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
   • Implement best practices to enhance the efficiency of bank reconciliation processes.

3. General Ledger Accounts Reconciliation:

   • Oversee the reconciliation of general ledger accounts to maintain the integrity of financial records.
   • Review and analyze ledger entries to identify and rectify any discrepancies.
   • Develop and maintain documentation of reconciliation procedures.

4. Mandatory Reports for Government Agencies:

   • Coordinate the preparation and submission of mandatory reports to government agencies, including but not limited to BIR, PEZA, SEC, and other relevant entities.
   • Stay updated on changes in regulatory requirements and ensure the company's compliance with all relevant laws.
   • Work closely with internal stakeholders to gather necessary information for accurate and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Adequate knowledge in MS Office & Accounting Software
• Adequate knowledge in accounting processes & mandatory reports submitted to government agencies (BIR, PEZA, SEC)
• 5-8 years experience in accounting facets/roles
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance.
• Effective communication and leadership skills.
• Experience in a Japanese Molding Manufacturing Company is an advantage
